This is a lovely home by bespoke home makers and award winning creatives Smerin Architects. It shows what can be done with a
West London space and a little foresight. Lovely streamlined furniture choices against a fresh white backdrop with well chosen prints
on the wall. The little garden area has been dealt with simply and effectively. We love the ambient lights at night and the plants are a
lovely framework to the choice of simple paved flooring. It is perfectly set up for when both friends or summer decides to arrive with
the in-built bar-b-cue and the patient exterior dining furniture.

Okay, lets get the gloves on and dissect this home! It is the classy choice of furniture that creates that tidy, streamlined effect,
(architecture aside). A lot of the furniture you will notice is not screaming for attention or too ‘pouffy,’ garishly coloured or extravagant.
If you want to re-create this look opt for key pieces with skinny chrome or brushed steel legs on chairs, sofas and tables which assist this tidy look.
The flooring is simple. It goes from wood paneling to large cream tiles and blends handsomely into the garden area which has large paving.
Yet more streamlining comes from the inline storage cabinets in the television area and the triplicate inline hanging pendants also play a role.
I’m such a fan of ambient or indirect lighting and it is used to gorgeous effect in the garden space. The walnut and brown kitchen facade is a
lovely distraction to the white and cream skin of this space. Note how this same chocolate themed distraction is also used in the bathroom and the bedroom.
One question: Are they sure the neighbours can’t see through those blinds?!
