The Observatory

2

Inspire Notes:

From South Africa’s Leobo Private Reserve we bring you The Observatory. An incredibly beautiful stone and glass living space that

profits from it’s stunning location and the vision of it’s architects Silvio Rech and Lesley Carsten. It luxuriates in traditional African

flavour with lots of wood and soft furnishings. Raw and powerful, soft and welcoming.

To re-create some semblance of this stunning home we can’t guarantee you the sunshine of South Africa but we can point you to it’s use

of simple unadorned walls, the aforementioned wood, rugs and large, soft c-shape seating area. We would add very sleek and well chosen

African ornaments to bring more flavour and vibe, but don’t overdo it to keep it serene and classy. Take a leaf out of the architects book,

they are known proponents of stylish African minimalism.
