Love this place. Even though the space is white, white, white with white ash wood floors and white handle-less kitchen cabinets and walls,
white furniture, white accessories, there is still just enough ‘grime‘ there to make this place. Polite grime, but grime none the less. The dark grey
felt pendant removes some of the purity and reasonable-ness. The decorative ladder, (which is quite hot right now), and the extra large black and
white portrait all do their bit for balance.

The rusty tin pen holder and the almost raw ceramic help also to make this place a really lovely balanced piece of living home style art.
The OCD perfect small white tiling gives this bathroom a fairly masculine feel, but I think it’s bi-sexual and could go either way depending on what other elements go in it.

To get this look, clearly it is time to visit some of the great Skandi stores we are always sourcing in the Style Index. Keep the wood plentiful and raw. Keep units sleek and handle-less. I’m thinking that the ubiquitous lettering craze is done. Whether as a piece of metal or wood or letter print, I’m really beginning to yawn with this home accessory – unless one puts a new spin on it such as the mega large one HERE. But lovin’ the statement art like the ‘This Is True’ piece. Why not even just print off something cryptic or sage for yourself like… ‘Onions Will Bleed.’ There, you can have that and you’re welcome.
Note the light wood accessories dotted about in keeping with the general theme but why not add a Skandish or Britainavian mix to the styling pot? Put a bit of Brit in there with some cool accessorizing or a giant black and white of some cool UK dude or dude-ess from the sixties.
