Shabby Chic Home:

This is a lovely styled home. Very thoughtfully put together with time and taste. We’re talking antique or faux antique fixtures and style pieces. Flea market finds, distressed painted floors and doors, decorative cornices and ceiling roses, worn and flat woven rugs.

Loving the rustic side table in the hallway and what a find the antique timepiece is.

Simple lovely detail such as the vase and the milk bottled dry flower make the vibe of this space.

The kitchen recalls the 1930’s and is nothing like contemporary kitchens that cunningly hide all the utensils. With this space we are afforded a mere curtain…and it rocks! It is perfect for this style.

Check out the wrought iron bed and the umbrella stand.

yes I like this very much. Stylish and restful at the same time. I think the quilt is lovely.

  2. Linzi says:

It’s cute and has a certain style to it but it’s a little too crusty for me. I’ll pass, but not bad. Dining rooms nice.

  3. Natasha says:

I think it’s a lovely space really well thought out with some well found or bought pieces. The kitchen is amazing and they obviously like vintage and retro but it’s still lovely and fresh. i’d be happy to live here.

  4. Nina says:

I’m feeling the dining room area and the hallway but the rest is trying too hard to be vintage if you ask me. I like the floors too, scuffed white paint might try that.

  5. Rachel says:

very nice. Some really nice bits and pieces here. I think the study is a bit too cluttered for me. I’d have to disagree with you Nina I don’t think its trying to hard to be anything. This is just the style these people like.

  6. Tomo says:

    This too old fro me.

  7. Chris Ford says:

I like the actual building not so much the styling. It’s perhaps all a little too 1930’s for me. But amazing how they have managed to find all the bits from that era.
